The History of Pizza’s Recipes |
The history of appearance of pizza throws back and it is almost as old as the history of humanity. There are a lot of different versions of appearance of pizza. The beginning of the pizza history we may consider when an ancient man has learned to bake flat scones with a feeling. Since ancient times, almost all nationalities from the Mediterranean area, used to make flat scones on stones over a coal. The flat scones were flavored with olive oil and different vegetables according to a season. Besides, these flat scones were comfortable for using it as a plate. But the first prototype of today’s pizza was made by Ancient Greeks. The Greeks put on dough cheese, onion, different greens and vegetable, poured with olive oil and cooked. Ancient Romans borrowed this recipe from the Greeks, but made it more complicated and differentiated. They put on it bay leaves and even honey. And over the number of years this dish was a dish of poor people. In XVIII century appeared first cafes. They looked like modern ones: marble place for cooking pizzas, shelf with different spice and table for visitors. Spread of pizza all over the world begins with USA when mass exodus of Italian people came to USA. Now pizza is the most favorite and popular dish among American people. There are a lot of cafes all over our country where pizza is prepared very well. And by the way, to have a cafe is a really good business. Americans will always go there for the tasty pizza. |
